Estate Planning should not be a difficult process. After an initial meeting, a draft of the estate planning documents will be produced for your review. Once the documents are finalized, there will be another meeting in which the documents will be presented and signed.

The Estate Planning process may include the following documents:
  • Revocable Trust- Avoids probate, conservatorships, and reduces or eliminates federal estate taxes for a married couple.
  • Pour-Over Will- Transfers any assets left outside the trusts at death into the trusts and revokes any prior wills.
  • Assignment For Personal Property- Transfers assets without a "title" into the trust.
  • Durable Power of Attorney for Assets- Authorizes an individual of your choosing to manage any property outside of the trust should you become incapacitated.
  • Advanced Health Care Directive (aka Living Will)- Authorizes someone to make health care decisions for you should you become incapacitated.
  • Nomination of Conservator
  • Nomination of Guardians for Minor Children
  • Trust Transfer Deed
  • Trust Certification
